Accessibility
Draft v0.1. Not yet in effect.Effective: [Effective Date] · Last updated: [Last Updated Date]
1. Our goal
We want everyone to be able to use Precognitrade, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard instead of a mouse, magnification, or other assistive technology. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA.
2. What we do
- We test the main parts of the Service, including sign-up and sign-in, questions, viewings, checkout and settings, with automated WCAG checks and by using them with a keyboard alone.
- Every control can be reached and used with a keyboard, and the control you are on is outlined when you move around with the keyboard.
- Text is sized and colored to meet WCAG contrast requirements in both the light and dark themes.
- Catalog images have descriptions of what they show, with concise alt text. When you choose between images in a viewing, each image's description is available to screen readers.
- Pages adapt to narrow screens and to zoom, so you don't need to scroll sideways to read them.
3. Known limitations
- Sketching needs a pointer. The sketch area in a viewing's impression step needs a mouse, touch or a stylus. Sketching is optional: you can record your impressions with notes and photos instead.
- Payment pages are run by Stripe. Checkout and the billing portal are operated by Stripe, which maintains their accessibility.
4. Get help or tell us about a problem
If something doesn't work for you, contact us at support@precognitrade.com. Tell us which page you were on and what happened. We'll help you do what you were trying to do and work on fixing the problem. We aim to reply within 2 business days.
5. Updates
We review this statement as the Service changes and update it when we fix a limitation or find a new one.
